Rename Select this check box to rename the document. Enter the new document name in the box. You can use RRTs to define a pattern.
Keep checked out Select this check box to keep the uploaded documents checked out on the server.
Inherit attributes from the parent folder or workspace Select this check box to make the document inherit all the custom attributes from its parent folder or workspace.
  • A document or folder can have several parent folders. It inherits the custom attributes from the first found parent folder or workspace on the server.

  • This option does not apply if the upload destination is a cabinet type.

Attributes

This table contains a list of custom attributes from the selected cabinet. A Repository Administrator can create custom Profile Attributes. A definable Profile Attribute can be a text, numeric, date, or notes type. Administrators can choose to require users to enter information for a specific attribute and define a set of values for a specific attribute for validation purposes.

Provide values for all required custom attributes to ensure a successful document upload.

  • When you use RRTs in the Destination text box on the Navigation tab, all attributes of the repository will be listed here, including those not enabled for the runtime-evaluated Destination ID.
  • When using validation tables (lookup tables) for profile fields, cabinet members can:
    • Select a predetermined value, such as selecting a client from a list of clients for the Client field.
    • The value can come from an RRT. In this case there is no validation; if the value does not exist in the lookup table, it results in a rejected job.
Edit Select an attribute in the Attributes table and click this button to update it.
Remove Click this button to remove a selected attribute from the Attributes table.
