Configure the Microsoft 365 application for ControlSuite

  1. Sign in to the Microsoft Entra admin center.

  3. Select Manage > App registrations.
  4. Choose an application and copy the Application (client) ID and Directory (tenant) ID.

  5. Select Manage > Certificates & secrets > New client secret.
  6. Enter the description.
    For example, ControlSuite Email Location A OutBound Email
    Multiple secrets allows multiple ControlSuite servers to be configured in multiple locations. Revoking a secret makes the ControlSuite servers in related location stop sending and receiving emails.
  7. Select Expire duration.
  8. Select and copy the Value of the secret.
    The value of the secret is displayed only once. Make a copy of it for use when setting up ControlSuite to send and receive email. Create a new secret for each configuration.
