Log in to KCS Portal

You can log in to KCS Portal as an Administrator or a user.

Once the user is authenticated and logged in, KCS Portal detects all Active Directory and/or local Windows user groups to which the logged-in user belongs.

Administrator login

This user has all the administrator privileges and access to all the features of KCS Portal.

Do the following to connect to KCS Portal as an Administrator.

Open a browser (locally or on any other computer on the local network) and type: http://<hostname>/kcsportalAdmin.

The KCS Portal login page appears.
Use Windows credentials to enter Username and Password.
Click Login.

User login

This user can only view the features which are assigned to it. This user connects to the first message server configured in the Message Server list.

Do the following to connect to KCS Portal as a user.

Open a browser (locally or on any other computer on the local network) and type: http://<hostname>/kcsportal.

The KCS Portal login page appears.
Use user credentials to enter Username and Password.
Click Login.
