Problem: The following error is displayed:

“Http error occurred (‘Method Not Allowed’) error code(‘405’)”

Cause: This error may occur on any attempt to change any data on the server (for example, edit or delete the server). This means that one or some of the HTTP verbs PUT, DELETE, POST, or GET are rejected by IIS.

Resolution: Verify that WebDAVPublishing is NOT installed. See Enabling IIS Web Server Role.
