Manage development environment names

You can define names for the development environment so that all tenants have consistent environment names. These names are selected while creating development environments for the tenants.

Create a development environment name

  1. On the Tenant Management System page, click Development Environments.

    The Development Environments page appears with a list of existing development environment names (if any).

  2. Enter a unique name for the development environment in the Name box.

    By default, a "Dev" environment appears in the list.

    Note the following:

    • A name can have a maximum of 10 characters for the length of the name.

    • A name cannot have special characters.

  3. Click Create.

    A confirmation message appears.

  4. Click OK.

    The new development environment name appears in the list.

  5. Click Close.

Update a development environment name

  1. On the Tenant Management System page, click Development Environments.

    The Development Environments page appears with a list of existing development environment names.

  2. Select the development environment name from the list.
  3. Enter the updated name in the Name box and click Update.
  4. Click OK.

Delete a development environment name

  1. On the Tenant Management System page, click Development Environments.

    The Development Environments page appears with a list of existing development environment names.

  2. Select the development environment name from the list and click Delete.

    A confirmation message appears.

  3. Click Yes to confirm the deletion.
