Search for an entity instance
Search for an entity instance to update or modify. The key attributes set in the entity definition let you search and retrieve entity instances at runtime.
Note While defining an entity, specify a unique attribute and up to
three key attributes. See

help for more information.

On the
Administration menu,
click
Entity Instances.
The Entity Instances page appears.
- On the Category list, select a category.
- On the Entity list, select the entity with the instance to find.

Do one of the following:

To search for all available instances, click Search. You do not need to specify values in the Key Attribute boxes.

To search for instances based on key attributes, enter values for the key attributes in the Search Text boxes and click Search.
Entity instances that match the search criteria appear in the key attributes list. The list includes information about who last modified the instance and the date when it was modified.
