Opening files from integrated programs
The PDF Convert tool at opens Convert Assistant, ready to accept PDF or XPS files as input.
Three main target tools or the
Other converter tools tool at
lets files be processed with direct conversions, using existing settings.
Export Area at
allows areas (such as pictures, tables or a small block of text suitable for a single PowerPoint slide) to
a chosen target.
Additionally, files can be opened from the following applications, with the indicated functionality:

In Convert Assistant, you can open PDF or XPS files from Cloud storage sites and (in Power PDF Advanced) the supported set of Document Management Systems.
You can also start Convert Assistant inside a Document Management System, select a PDF or XPS from the DMS and convert it.
