Processing modes
To select a processing mode, use the Options menu or the drop-down list for the Mode tool. The appearance of the tool on the toolbar may vary, based on the current conversion mode. On program restart, the most recent mode is displayed.

Standard Document | The pages have body text and maybe titles, columns, tables and pictures. For example, business letters, newspaper articles. |

The selected processing mode may automatically be changed by the program if you select an output format that is not supported by the selected processing mode. The program keeps the processing mode and the output format synchronized.
Processing options
The delivery default processing mode is Standard Document. Click the tool if displayed; otherwise, click the arrow next to the Mode tool to select it, or select it in the Options menu. To select another processing mode and display its processing options panel, click the arrow beside the Mode tool or use the Options menu.
Each panel includes processing options that are both general and specific to the document type. The values given are stored separately for each processing mode. For details, see Standard Document, Legal, Spreadsheet and Form.
