Process Discovery Analyzer

Kofax RPA Process Discovery Analyzer is designed to process the recorded raw data and to generate refined data for Kofax Analytics for RPA dashboard.

Specify Process Discovery Analyzer database connection settings, runtime parameters, and supply credentials to perform database provisioning on the Settings page of the Process Discovery Analyzer branch.

Description

Database settings

Specify database connection settings for the Process Discovery Analyzer to store refined data.

  • Host: Database server name or IP address. If you use Docker tools to deploy Process Discovery, this is the computer where Process Discovery runs in a Docker container.

  • Schema: Name of schema.

  • Database type: Specifies the type of database. This parameter cannot be changed.

  • User name: Account name to access the database by the Analyzer.

  • Password: Account password to access the database by the Analyzer.

Database provisioning

Enter credentials to create the database schema and grant access to the user specified in Database settings.

  • Admin name: Database administrator name.

  • Admin password: Database administrator password. Specify a password for the administrator account to secure it.

Create schema: Creates the schema in the database using the specified credentials.

Grant user access: Grants necessary database access rights to the user specified in Database settings.

Advanced settings

Specify Analyzer run settings.

  • Schedule Mode: Select the type of Analyzer run schedule.

    • Execute At Specific Times: Set comma-separated list of time values in hh:mm format to run Analyzer.

    • Execution Interval (minutes): Set time interval between Analyzer runs.

  • Min Event Count For Application: A number of actions in an application for an agent to ignore. If a person performs more actions than the specified number, the agent records the user activity in the application.

  • Interval Between Sessions Seconds: A time in seconds between the end of one session and the beginning a new one. If an agent does not receive any action during the specified time, the session is marked as complete. A new session is opened the next time the agent records a user action.
