Archive original customer emails to SAP in connection with ReadSoft Invoices Cockpit

Original emails from customers can be archived to SAP by specifying the following INI file flags in Tungsten ReadSoft Collector and Tungsten ReadSoft Invoices Cockpit:

  • EICC 3.14.0.0 or later is required for this to work.

  • The following specifications support only the IMAP, IMAP with LimiLabs, and EWS email protocols.

[Settings] section in Collector.ini

  • SaveMailContentToFile=1

  • SaveMailContentFilePath=<the full path to the folder to which EML archive files are saved>

The first flag instructs ReadSoft Collector to generate an EML archive file that contains the original customer emails. The UDV, EICCARCHIVEMAILFILEPATH, is also created for each email including the path specified using the second flag. The EML file is then passed on to ReadSoft Invoices.

ReadSoft Invoice Cockpit

The following also needs to be configured in ReadSoft Invoices Cockpit:

ArchiveMailContentRepository = SAP Content Repository for Mail

ArchiveMailDocumentType = SAP Archive Document type for Mail

ArchiveMailMimeType = Content Type for EML file type for Mail

ReadSoft Invoices Cockpit retrieves the EML file based on the path specified for the UDV and archives the file to SAP.
