Verifying forms

The Form menu in Verify has these commands for handling forms as you verify them:

Command

Description

Inspect

Displays each filled-in field on the form in turn. You can change or add values if you wish.

After the last field is checked, the Continue button is deactivated; select Form ð Skip or Form ð Inspect to proceed.

Complement

Allows you to add or edit a form complement for the current form, regardless of whether or not it is included in the form definition. See Form complement.

Delete

Deletes the current form from the image and form databases. (Related topic for administrator: Deleting forms the safe way, a FORMS API Help topic.)

Skip

Disregards the current form for the time being. FORMS prompts you to save or ignore changes already made to the form. If you choose to ignore changes, the status of the form is not changed, so it reappears the next time you run the job.

Previous form

Returns to a previous form.

Select form def.

Matches the current form to a form definition. Use when verifying unidentified forms.

Information or Extended information

Displays information about individual forms.

Go to form

Takes you to a different form in the current set. Available only when you verify sets in normal mode. The Select form in set dialog appears and you can choose one of the forms in the set. Select a form and click OK to start verifying it.

Create a new blank form

Creates a new blank form for manual keying.

Show image from file

Displays the image file associated with the form.

Print

Prints the current form to a connected printer. The image is automatically scaled to the paper size chosen for the printer.
