XML Export Settings - Header Table tab

Use this tab to configure the xml header table export information for an invoice.

This tab is available only when the Active setting is selected on the XML Export Settings - Main tab.

Any changes made to these settings are applied to new documents only. Documents that are already in-progress use the settings that were in-place when their processing began.

The following settings are available.

XML File Header

The value of the file header tag in the XML file, such as <MyFileHeader>. (Default: Document)

XML Invoice Header

The value of the tag that marks the invoice header section of the XML file. For example, <InvoiceHeader>. (Default: InvHeader)

If the value is blank, InvHeader is used.

The following buttons are available for the above settings.

Save

Saves your changes to the above settings.

Reload

Deletes any unsaved changes and resets the field values back to the last saved settings.

XML Header Mappings

This table lists header mappings for XML export and has the following columns.

Field Name

The name of the field.

XML Tag

The tag that represents the field when added to the exported XML file.

If this setting is left blank, the field is not exported

If a field is listed and there is no XML mapping, that field is not exported. You can remove an XML mapping as needed.

The following button is available to edit table entries.

Edit

Opens a selected entry in the table so that you can make changes as needed.

Click to open the XML Header Mapping - Edit window .

Add

Adds an entry to the table.

Click this button to open the XML Header Mapping - New window.

Delete

This button is available when an entry with an export mapping is selected only. It removes the export mapping for the selected entry.
