Tax Code Information tab

When Kofax AP Agility is first installed, the unit of measure TAXCODE database table is created and configured by default. However, if you want to edit or add to this table, you can do so using this tab.

If you are using an ERP Connector and the AP Agility Workflow but you want to maintain this table manually, ensure that you do not specify a path for the Tax Code Data Path setting in the Global Import Files. If you do provide a path, any manual changes made here are overwritten the next time that data is imported.

Any changes made to these settings are applied to new documents only. Documents that are already in-progress use the settings that were in-place when their processing began.

The following column settings are available.

Vendor ID

The unique ID that is assigned by the system for each tax code information that is created.

Country

The country for the entry.

Ship To

The ship to address for the entry.

Ship From

The ship from address for the entry.

Service

The service type for the entry.

Material No

The material number used by the entry.

Material Group

The material group used by the entry.

Percentage

The tax percentage used by the entry.

Any Rate

If selected, the tax code rule is calculated without a percentage value.

When this setting is selected, the Percentage field becomes read-only.

Tax Code

The tax code used by the entry.

Partition

The partition used by the entry.

The following buttons are available at the bottom of the window.

Edit

Opens a selected entry in the table so that you can make changes as needed.

Click to open the Tax Code Information - Edit window.

Add

Adds an entry to the table.

Click to open the Tax Code Information - New window.

Copy

Makes a copy of the selected table entry so that you can make a new entry to the table based on the copy.

Click to copy the selected table entry and open the Tax Code Information - New window.

Delete

Click to remove the selected entry from the table, but after confirmation only.
