Google Workspace (SMTP) Configuration for Outbound Email

Google Workspace (SMTP) requires Google OAuth 2.0 credentials. A Client ID and Client Secret must be created, and these credentials must be used to generate a Refresh Token. Contact your Google Workspace administrator if assistance is required.
  1. In Configuration Settings, create or edit an outbound email profile and select Google Workspace (SMTP) as the Server Type.
  2. Set the following parameters:
    Parameter Description
    Application ID Specifies the Google OAuth Client ID assigned to the registered application.
    Client Secret

    Specifies the Client Secret created for the registered application.
    Refresh Token

    Specifies the OAuth 2.0 Refresh Token generated using the Client ID and Client Secret.
    Mailbox

    Specifies the email address of the Google Workspace mailbox used to send email.
  3. Select OK to save.
