Changes in behavior

This topic describes the changes introduced in this version of TotalAgility.

Support for Microsoft Dynamics AX removed

Microsoft Dynamics AX is no longer supported by Microsoft; therefore, its support is also removed from TotalAgility 8.1.0.

Micro Focus Content Manager renamed

Micro Focus Content Manager is renamed to Open Text Content Manager in TotalAgility integration.

Configuration Utility available in TotalAgility Integration Server

The Configuration Utility was incorrectly removed from the Integration Server installation in TotalAgility 7.11.0. The utility is available again in TotalAgility 8.1.0.

OmniPage upgrade

This recognition engine was upgraded to version 22.2.

Email body text mapping

If a message has a text body alternative, the plain text body is mapped to the Body metadata variable instead of the HTML, MHT, or PDF body.

Cancel button on the Workspace page

On the TotalAgility Workspace page, the Cancel button is now blue instead of red when using the "Display in action bar" system setting.

Predefined Document Type Locator LLM support

The Predefined Document Type Locator now supports document types that use third-party Large Language Models (LLMs). Refer to the Tungsten Document Library Help for more information.

Security and encryption of knowledge base files for Online Learning

In earlier releases of TotalAgility, when using Online Learning within Transformation Designer, the knowledge base file generated with the obtained data could be opened and viewed in a text editor. The data from an image could also be included in the knowledge base file.

In TotalAgility 8.1.0, when using Online Learning within Transformation Designer, the knowledge base file generated with the obtained data is protected and cannot be opened in a text editor (in rare cases, the contents can be viewed). The data from an image is also not visible and readable in the knowledge base file.

Improved term licensing

TotalAgility on-premise and on-premise multi-tenant environments include the following licensing changes.

Statistics, threshold, and activation

  1. When viewing the licensing statistics, all license types now include start and end dates.
  2. The expired licenses are not displayed by default. The new Show term expired licenses option lets you view the expired licenses.

  3. When configuring the license expiration thresholds, an exception process is triggered based on the last expiration of term licenses.

  4. When activating a license server, the license server automatically generates the license server version.

See Set threshold for a primary server and Set threshold for a backup server in the TotalAgility Designer Help.

License alerts for TotalAgility On-Premise Multi-Tenant

In an on-premise multi-tenant environment, an event is logged every 24 hours by default when the reserved volume or user licenses are consumed. On restarting the License Server service, the logging clock is reset, which may result in additional log entries if reserve licenses are consumed. Additionally, warnings appear when the term license is about to expire, and logging occurs within 24 hours of the expiration falling within the warning threshold.
