In a multi-tenant deployment, it can be difficult to identify the exact cause of issues related to performance, reliability, and responsiveness of the system, due to multiple deployments, environments, tenants, and agents (Core worker, Transformation Server).

The new Logging menu option in the Tenant Management System lets you define logging settings and retention policies for System and Worker tasks so that the details of these tasks are recorded.

Several dashboards are available to help administrators monitor trends related to user logons, worker and system task execution, activity overview, breakdown, and throughput. Based on the trends, administrators can troubleshoot issues, maintain system health, and adjust the capacity and behavior if needed.

For example, the Activity Overview dashboard provides an overview of live activities in a deployment (Production) that includes:

• Live activities for each tenant.

• Breakdown of activities by status; a high number of pending activities that do not decrease indicates a potential issue.

• Minimum, maximum, and average pending and locked time; a high number indicates a problem.
