Manually update a dictionary from source

If the "Automatic update from import file" setting is not selected for a dictionary on the Dictionary Options window, you need to manually update a dictionary if the source file changes.

You can manually update a dictionary from source by following these steps:

  1. On the Project tab, in the Configuration group, select Project Settings Project Settings icon.
  2. Click the Dictionaries tab to view the dictionary settings.
  3. Select the dictionary to be updated and click Import Import icon.
  4. When prompted to confirm the update, click Yes.

    The dictionary is updated to match the source dictionary.

  5. Optionally, click OK to close the Project Settings window.
  6. Save the changes to your project.
