Add a setting to the Quick Access toolbar

If you use a particular setting frequently enough, you may want to avoid changing tabs on the Ribbon and add this setting to the Quick Access toolbar. This means that the setting is always available, regardless of the open Ribbon tab.

Several of the Ribbon settings such as Cut Cut icon, Paste Paste icon, and Delete Delete icon, change their behavior depending on the selected Project Tree item. As a result, it is important to ensure you have selected the correct item in the Project Tree before selecting one of these settings from the Quick Access toolbar.

You can add a setting to the Quick Access toolbar by following these steps:

  1. In the main Project Builder window, hide or close any windows that block the Ribbon.
  2. Open the tab on the Ribbon that contains the setting you are adding to the Quick Access toolbar.
  3. Right-click the setting and select Add to Quick Access Toolbar.

    The selected setting is added to the end of the Quick Access toolbar.
