Upload batches

You can upload one or more files to create and run batches.

For the list of supported file formats, see Upload Batch (Upload New Documents).

  1. Open the Upload Batch page.
  2. In the Upload Files area, click Select Files or drag and drop a file to the bottom panel.

    After you upload the file, it becomes available in the list of files on the Upload Batch page.

When you upload files, a new folder is created at the following location:

{ephesoft-shared-folder}upload-batch-folder

Folder name format:

{username}_{current-date}_{current-time}

Main toolbar

The Upload Batch page includes the main toolbar with the following options.

Option

Description

Start Batch

  1. From the Batch Class drop-down list, select the batch class and click Start Batch to start the processing of a batch.

  2. Set the batch class fields to start the batch for a batch class with batch class fields.

Delete File(s)

Select the required check boxes and click Delete File(s) to delete the uploaded files.

Reset All

Use to restore the Upload Batch page to the default settings.

Field(s)

You must set the batch class fields to run the batch for a batch class with batch class fields.

  1. From the Batch Class drop-down list, select a batch class.

    The Field(s) button is enabled if the selected batch class has batch class fields.

  2. Click the Field(s) button to set the batch class fields.

Batch Class

View the list of batch classes.

Use a sorting icon to adjust the items that appear in the Batch Class drop-down list.

Description

Provide a description for a batch instance. This description becomes the batch instance description when a batch instance is created.

The batch class description format:

{Batch Class Identifier}_{username}_{current-date}_{current-time}

Priority

Priority sets the order in which batches are executed.
