Feeder Group

Use the Feeder group to indicate how your documents are fed through the scanner. Kofax VRS Test Console detects the connected scanner to determine its capabilities. If your scanner does not support one of the feeder types, that type is not available.

• ADF: Scans documents from the automatic document feeder. This option is useful for scanning stacks of loose pages of a similar type, or for documents in good condition.

• Flatbed: Scans a document from the flatbed. This option is useful for scanning thick or bound documents that cannot pass through the scanner, or for documents in poor condition.
