Starting Kofax VRS Test Console

After starting Kofax VRS Test Console, you configure scan preferences or start scanning documents.

  1. Place your documents in the scanner.
  2. On the Windows Start menu, point to the VRS folder and click Kofax VRS Test Console.

    The Kofax VRS Test Console appears.

  3. On the Home tab, in the Scanner group, click Select to select a scanner.
  4. On the Home tab and the Scan Settings tab, apply the settings that are appropriate for the documents to be scanned.
  5. On the Home tab, in the Image Quality group, click Settings to open the Kofax VRS Interactive Viewer.
  6. On the Kofax VRS Interactive Viewer, update image quality settings or select a scan profile, and then click OK.
  7. On the Kofax VRS Test Console, on the Home tab, in the Scan group, click Scan One or Scan All to start scanning.
  8. After scanning, inspect the images in the Viewer.
  9. Save images.
