Home Tab

The Home tab includes frequently used Kofax VRS Test Console controls, which are described in the table.

Control	Name	Description
Scan group
	Scan One	Scans a single page.
	Scan All	Scans all pages in the scanner.
	Stop	Stops the scan or import operation.
File group
	Import	Imports an image and appends it to the existing images in the Viewer. When you import a file, it is excluded from VRS image cleanup processing, and no bar code or patch code recognition is performed.
	Save	Saves images that are selected in the Viewer; if no images are selected, saves all images.
	Type	Sets the format for saving image files.
	Compression	Sets the compression format for the selected file type.
	Multipage	Saves multiple PDF or TIFF images as a single, multipage file.
Image Quality group
	VRS Processing	Applies Kofax image processing to documents as you scan.
	Settings	Opens the Kofax VRS Interactive Viewer so you can adjust image processing settings.
Scanner group
	Select	Opens the Select Scanner window, which lists the scanners that are available from your computer for use with Kofax VRS Test Console.
