Applying Imprinter Settings
Use the Imprinter settings to customize the content and appearance of the text string applied to pages as they are scanned. For example, use imprinted text to add page numbers, date stamps, or other general information to a page. To apply the imprinter text to an electronic image, see Annotation.
- On the Scan Settings tab, in the Imprinting & Annotation group, click Imprinter to turn on imprinting.
-
On the

- Left Offset: Set the distance between the imprinted text and the left edge of the page. The default and minimum value is zero, but the text is never printed less than 20 mm from the left of the page. The maximum value is dependent on paper size. You must enter whole numbers for pixels (default) and millimeters, but you can enter decimal numbers in 0.1-inch increments for inches.

Font Size: Optionally adjust the size of the imprinted text. The
Large setting prints taller characters; the
Small setting prints reduced size characters. Selecting
Large may affect the length of text strings, causing the text to print off the end of the page.
Also, you can select the font size but not the font type; by default, the scanner prints standard Latin font characters.
