Subsites
Use this group to define a list of SharePoint subsites for exporting index field values. If no index fields are configured for your job, the Subsites group is not available.
- Subsites
-
Define the list of subsites where index fields values can be exported. Once you select a subsite on the list, go to the Images group to configure related preferences.
Use the following controls to manage the list of subsites that are available for exported index field values:
-
Add subsite: Click the plus sign to select a SharePoint subsite to add to the list of available subsites.
-
Remove subsite: Click the minus sign to remove the selected subsite from the list.
-
Remove all subsites: Click the X symbol to remove the entire list of subsites.
- Set as default
-
When you set a subsite as the default, the Images group settings associated with it are applied if you export to a subsite that does not appear on the Subsites list. If you export to a subsite on the list, the configured subsite settings are applied.
-
Images
Use this group of settings to connect to the SharePoint server and set preferences for naming the document files and identifying the content type. If a subsite is selected in the Subsites group, the settings in the Images group apply to the subsite. You can specify a different set of settings for each subsite.
- Library
-
Displays the library specified in the SharePoint group after you click Connect.
- Document file name
-
Sets the format for each document file name. The format can be a combination of variables and static text. To view a list of available formats based on existing index fields, click Setup.
For example, if you select {Document Number With Zeros[8]}, a file is created in SharePoint for each document in the batch. In this example, each file name would consist of the document number assigned when the batch was scanned. The document number would be preceded by 7 leading zeroes, as shown here:
00000003.pdf
- Content type
-
Since content types are linked to SharePoint libraries, click Connect to connect to SharePoint to populate the "Content type" list. Click the arrow to view and select an available SharePoint content type. Once the content type is selected, the appropriate SharePoint columns are displayed to link to Kofax Express index fields. If no content type is specified, the batch is exported as the default content type available in the export folder.
