Create an Azure storage account

Create an Azure storage account using the Azure Management portal.

  1. Open the Azure Management portal.
  2. Create an Azure storage account (take a note of the storage account name and access key).
  3. Open the Azure Management portal.

  4. Select the STORAGE menu and click NEW.

  5. In the URL box, enter name for your storage.
  6. Select LOCATION/AFFINITY GROUP.
  7. Click CREATE STORAGE ACCOUNT.

  8. To get access key to your Azure storage, on the list of available storages, select the storage you need and click MANAGE ACCESS KEYS.
