Create and edit folders

In PSIsafe Web, a folder represents a real file folder in a physical cabinet.

There are several ways to populate a folder. To start the process, from the Cabinets browser, select and open the preferred repository and cabinet via the dropdown menu in the upper-left of the interface.

  • To create a folder, hover on the Down Arrow and click New. Then, manually enter index information.
  • To edit the folder, left-click the folder, select the Down Arrow , and click Edit (or right-click the folder and click Edit).
  • This displays the folder edit window, which will allow you to change the associated metadata of the folder.
  • Another way to populate folders is to use PSIsafe Desktop Synchronizer and Books to populate vendors and customers from QuickBooks by synchronizing folder index data from the main PSIsafe Desktop database. Folder Index fields are configured in the PSIsafe Management application and cannot be changed within the web interface.
