Configure document export
Configure how processed documents are exported from your DocAI Studio solution.
The document export step allows you to specify where and how processed documents are exported after processing is complete. The exported data includes each imported document in its original form as well as the documents after processing.
DocAI Studio supports the following export channels:
- None:
- No documents are exported. Use this option when you only need to process documents without exporting them.
- Download:
- Exports a ZIP file that can be downloaded by assigned users or groups. This option is useful when users need to manually retrieve processed documents. See Use Download for export.
- Azure Blob storage:
- Exports processed documents to an Azure storage container. This option is ideal for cloud-based document storage and integration with Azure services. See Use Azure Blob storage for export.
- REST API:
- Exports documents to an external system via REST API calls. This option enables integration with third-party systems and custom applications. See Use REST API for export.
- Local Drive / Share:
- Exports processed documents to a local drive or network share. This option is useful for on-premises storage or when documents need to be saved to a specific file system location. See Use Local Drive / Share for export.
Select an export channel from the list above and follow the configuration steps in the corresponding topic. After configuring export, you can optionally configure other steps or publish your solution.
