Add a detected table as an AI table field
Use the procedure in this topic to turn a table that table detection already found into an AI table field without retyping the table name or its column names.
Before you begin
Before you add a detected table as an AI table field, verify the following steps are complete.

Add at least one user-defined document type

Enable table detection and run detection on a training document so one or more tables are detected
Procedure
- Select the Auto Detected Tables tab for a document with one or more detected tables.

Select an auto-detected table and select
Add as AI table field.
The Add AI table field window is displayed and is pre-filled based on the detected table details. The description and advanced settings are set to the default values.
- Optional. Change the pre-filled table name, add a description, or add, rename, or remove a column.

Select Save.
Table detection is performed automatically for the new field.
