Work with users
This topic describes how to work with users in Admin Center.
Add a user
If you need to create many user accounts, you can import users. To add a single new user:
- Select Add user from a partner or customer landing page, or select Add on the Users view.

Use the dialog that appears to specify the user settings on
each tab (such as Profile and
Privileges).
User names cannot include any of the following file extensions
- .asax
- .ascx
- .master
- .skin
- .browser
- .sitemap
- .config
- .cs
- .csproj
- .vb
- .vbproj
- .webinfo
- .licx
- .resx
- .resources
- .mdb
- .vjsproj
- .java
- .jsl
- .ldb
- .dsdgm
- .ssdgm
- .lsad
- .ssmap
- .cd
- .dsprototype
- .lsaprototype
- .sdm
- .sdmDocument
- .mdf
- .ldf
- .ad
- .dd
- .ldd
- .sd
- .adprototype
- .lddprototype

- Select Save & close.
If the parent partner or customer account is active, the new user receives an email notification with login information. If you are setting up a new account, all users receive login information when the parent account is activated.
When a customer administrator logs in for the
first time after creating a customer, the terms of service appear. A customer
administrator can agree to the terms on behalf of all users in the organization.
The terms of service must be accepted to use Tungsten AP Essentials.
Edit a user
To edit an existing user, complete the following steps
- Select a user name in the Users view.
- Use the dialog that appears to edit the user settings as needed on each tab (such as Profile and Privileges).
- Select Save & close.
Delete a user
To delete an existing user, complete the following steps
- Ensure the user you want to delete does not belong to a workflow.

Navigate to the Users view, and select Delete on the row of the user you want
to delete.
A confirmation dialog appears.

Select Yes
The user is deleted.
