Add a condition to a group of Text Blocks

You can make a group of Text Blocks conditional so they only appear when you need them in your document. A group of Text Blocks is also known as a Section.

  1. Navigate to Content > Content Wizards and find the object you need.
  2. Click the object and then click Edit in the View and Edit pane on the right.
    The Content Wizard Editor appears.
  3. In the document structure, right-click the group and then click Edit.
    • To create a new Section, on the menu, click Edit > Add Section.
    The Section window appears.
  4. Click the Show/Hide tab.
  5. Select Section is not always included.
  6. Click New on the right to add a condition to the section.
    The Condition window appears.
  7. From the drop-down list, select a Field that relates to the section. The section will be included when this Field is equal to the value Y (for yes).

The condition is applied to the section.
  9. Click Ok.
Inclusion of the group of Text Blocks is now conditional. This group will only appear in a document when you need it.
