Export and download a project

To transfer a project you have been working on to a different environment, you need to export and download it.

Note The maximum supported size of the export file depends on available memory but typically is around 100 MB. For larger exports, use KCM Designer for Windows. For more information, see the section Import and Export in the Kofax Communications Manager Repository User's Guide.

  1. Click Export on the dashboard. From the KCM Designer main window, click the navigation arrow icon and then click Dashboard.
  2. Select the project to export and click Export.

    You are notified that the project is being exported.

  3. Click OK.
    As soon as the project is exported, you can download it.
  4. Click Download to download the project.
    You are prompted to open or save the project.
  5. Click Save.
    By default, the project is saved to the folder with downloaded files on your computer.
