Notifications

Select when to send notifications: Never, Always, Success, and Failure
Send date and Send time Select the date and time when the message should be sent. If these fields are not configured, the message is sent immediately.
Latest delivery Select this option to configure the latest possible time when the message can be sent. This is useful if you need to send a fax to someone by a certain time, and is of no use if it arrives after that time. Configure the following:
  • No: Latest delivery time is configured as infinite.

  • Absolute: Configure the latest delivery time using the Latest delivery date and Time fields.

  • Relative: Configure the time in the Time field. The latest delivery time is calculated based on the current time and this value.

Sending copy

Select the option to print the fax message:

All: A copy of each outgoing fax message, even if the same message is sent to multiple recipients, is printed during sending.

First: A copy of only the message sent to the first recipient is printed.

No: The message sent to the first recipient is not printed.

The user configuration defines where the sending copy is printed or delivered.

Fax header Select this to activate the header line in faxes. By default, this option is selected.
High resolution Select this to set the fax resolution to High. Higher resolution is slower and therefore more expensive, but produces a clearer fax image. By default, this option is selected.
Registered A registered message stays open in the Outbox until the recipient opens the message.
Ignore invalid recipients When selected and if there is an invalid recipient in the list of recipients, the message is delivered to all but not to the invalid recipient.

If this option is clear, the entire message is rejected and will not reach any of the intended recipients.

Cost Specify the cost center to which the message should be billed.
Cover Select the required cover sheet from the list. All cover sheets in your Message Folder and the FIS Folder are listed.
Recurrence Select to configure recurrence email to be sent to a recipient periodically, such as weekly or daily. If the recurrence option is set, a new send order is created for the next delivery time after the mail has been sent or after all send attempts. The available options are:

Off: Select to turn off the recurrence.

Weekly: Select to configure the recurrence. You can select which days of the week the email must be sent, such as Monday, Tuesday, Wednesday, Thursday, Friday, Saturday, and Sunday.

  • Recurrences are endless until the send order is cancelled.
  • Recurrences may be skipped if delivery of a message takes about one day or longer to ensure that the next scheduled recurrence is at least 30 seconds after the previous sent recurrence.

  • A registered message to a Tungsten Communication Server user is considered sent after the message is opened by the recipient in the inbox.
