SignCheck notification

If the connection between client and server is a phone line, it might be reasonable, only to select the GetNext function in SignCheck, if checks are available.

The notification provides information if there are checks available in the adjusted queues which have to be processed. To enable the notification, you have to specify the entries SignCheck.NotifyHost and SignCheck.NotifyPort in the configuration file custom.properties.

If the notification is enabled a colored circle appears in the SC-Queue menu. In the following table you can see the meaning of the various colors possible.

  • Yellow

No one has performed a request to the adjusted queue, it is unknown if there are checks which have to be processed.

  • Red

In the adjusted queue are no checks that have to be processed.

  • Green

In the adjusted queue are checks that have to be processed.

If one of the entries SignCheck.NotifyHost and SignCheck.NotifyPort are not defined, the notification is disabled. In this case no colored circle is in the menu visible.

The following events cause a modification of the notification status:

  • Green

A GetNext was successful and a check will be displayed.

After the queue was empty, thus a red circle was shown, the WFRouter informs you, that there are new orders.

  • Red

A GetNext was unsuccessful, that means that the queue is empty.

  • Yellow

The current queue was modified after starting the client.

After a GetNext was unsuccessful, the WFRouter could not get a connection. Because it has tried several times, a red circle appears first, which disappears when the client stops trying to get the connection. That is only tried again if the next GetNext was unsuccessful.
