Classification
This topic describes the user interface, navigation, and functionality of the Classification module. A valid capture profile with a Classification workflow step is required to classify documents as pre-configured Classification profiles.
Classification within PSIcapture is comprised of a series of features and functions that provide seamless automation. The Classification module is a core piece of the system that handles automatic identification, separation, and assembly of forms and disparate types of documents. Once documents are classified, they are assigned a record type, which facilitates specific extraction methods for that type of document. This topic provides an overview of the theory and functions behind classification, as well as a basic configuration overview.
