Viewer

Use the commands on the Viewer menu to manage page and batch viewing. This menu appears only in modules with document preview panes, including Capture / Import, Quality Assurance, Index, and Retrieval.

Group Button Description
Selection Pointer Changes the cursor back to the pointer (from zoom or magnifier).
Selection Zoom Click and drag with the left mouse button to zoom in on a selected area on the image. To return the image back to full size, double right-click.
Magnifier Left-click an area to magnify it.
Page Navigation First Page Jumps to the first page of the document.
Previous Page Jumps to the page before the current page.
Next Page Jumps to the page after the current page.
Last Page Jumps to the last page of the document.
Rotation Rotate Left

Rotates the document 90 degrees to the left.

Click the Save Rotation button to save rotation changes.

Rotate Right

Rotates the document 90 degrees to the right.

Click the Save Rotation button to save rotation changes.

Save Rotation Saves the current rotation of the page.
Zoom Zoom In Zooms in on the page.
Zoom Out Zooms out from the page.
Zoom

You can select any of the following zoom options:

  • Zoom level

    • 10%

    • 25%

    • 50%

    • 75%

    • 100%

    • 125%

    • 150%

    • 200%

    • 400%

    • 800%

  • Actual size

  • Fit page

  • Fit width

View Options Page Layout

  • Simplex: Shows one page at a time in the viewing pane.

  • Duplex: Shows two consecutive pages (top and bottom) in the viewing pane. This layout is useful for viewing both sides of a page simultaneously.

Thumbnail View

When Capture Progress Viewer is enabled, you can change the size of the thumbnails.

  • Smallest

  • Small

  • Medium

  • Large

Toggle Standalone Viewer When toggled, the preview/viewer pane opens in a separate dialog box.

Toggle Annotation Editing

Only available in the Retrieval module.

Displays or hides the Annotation settings pane, which contains the same commands that appear on the annotations toolbar.

  • Text tool

  • Freehand tool

  • Line tool

  • Polyline tool

  • Rectangle tool

  • Polygon tool

  • Ellipse tool

  • Stamp tool

Toggle Annotation Display

Only available in the Retrieval module.

Toggles the display of annotations within the preview pane.
