New document |
Displays the Preview screen and enables you to scan a new document using the current settings. Place the new document in the feeder or on the glass and then press Scan more. This button is always enabled and can be used. The original job can be left and a new workflow can be started with the New Document option even if the original scanning (image transfer) is still in progress. |

New destination |
Enables you to send the scanned document to another connector. Press the button and then select the target connector from the list. The client opens the target connector and displays the scanned document on the Preview screen. Press Next and then follow the prompts provided by the target connector. The original job can be left and a new workflow can be started with the New Destination option even if the original scanning (image transfer) is still in progress. In this case, the page count and the thumbnails of the original scan appear on the ScanMore form in the second, New Destination workflow, when the scanning/image transfer is completed for the original job.
Note The image files of the job are not copied to these workflows.
If a second job is started with the New Destination
option, then the same (incoming raw) images are used that were
created in the first workflow. If New Destination is
selected, and (any of) the previous workflow(s) used any
document service for performing image transformation operation
(for example, Convert to BW, and so on), the transformed
image is used for any later consecutive workflows (via new
destination).
