Registering applications for Token Vault

Token Vault connects eCopy connectors with Microsoft 365 as well as NetDocuments resources and email watchers with Microsoft 365 resources. It gets authentication tokens for applications (such as eCopy ShareScan connectors) to access such resources.

To enable Token Vault to do so, you need to register an application for Token Vault

  • In the Microsoft Identity Platform (Azure Active Directory) admin center associated with your Microsoft 365 subscription, or
  • On the NetDocuments portal, or
  • In the iManage Work Control Center

depending on the connector or the email watcher you intend to use.

Registering applications for Token Vault is the first task in the configuration process that enables your eCopy ShareScan connectors and email watchers to use modern authentication.
