This topic describes how to use the Message Connector configuration.

To start the Message Connector Configuration, on the Windows Start menu, select Kofax > Message Connector Configuration. Start the configuration tool using the Message Connector Configuration shortcut from the Kofax group in the Windows Start menu.

Alternatively, on the Message Connector Web Portal menu, under Component, select Configuration Tool. On the Remote Configuration Tool page, click View/Edit configuration.

The configuration parameters are organized into several tabs. The most important tabs are listed at the top of the page. They are expanded by default.

Use the and the buttons to expand and collapse tabs respectively.

Toggle between Advanced and Basic buttons to display or hide advanced configuration settings. Basic settings are grouped under the following tabs:

• General tab

• Document conversion tab

• Structured (XML) input handling tab

• MS Graph or EWS proxy settings tab

• Email inbound via SMTP tab

• Email outbound tab

• Web-Service input tab

• SSL certificate tab

• Fax server tab

Advanced settings are grouped under the following tabs:

• Security options tab

• List of Call Peers tab

• VoIP/FoIP network tab

• Voice codecs tab

• Fax tab

• H.323 signaling tab

• SIP signaling tab

• HTTP tab

• Performance and limits tab

• Trace settings tab

Click Save to save and close Message Connector Configuration. The Exit configuration window is displayed.

Click Exit to close Message Connector Configuration without saving.
