Convert Document

Use this page to test document conversion included in Message Connector Configuration.

Converting documents requires third-party applications; you can use this page to verify that they are properly installed and configured. For configuration, refer to the Document conversion tab.

  1. On the menu, click Convert Document. The Test Document Conversion page appears.
  2. Under Conversion target format, select the required format, such as PDF or TIFF.
  3. Under Conversion details, select the appropriate conversion settings. The following settings are available:

    • Normalize PDF to PDF/A: Select to convert PDF to PDF/A format.

      This option is applicable only for PDF input files.

    • Convert XFA Forms using Adobe Experience Manager: Select this check box to allow the conversion of PDF documents with XFA forms using Adobe Experience Manager.

    • Image Coding: Select the image encoding format, such as T.6 and JPG.

    • Image Resolution: Select the resolution of the image.

    • Scale to: Select the minimum and maximum limit for scaling.

    • Password: Enter password.

    • Output PDF format: Select the output PDF format, such as PDF/A 1b and PDF/A 2b.

  4. Under Content, click Browse to select a source file for conversion.
  5. Click one of the convert buttons to display the result:
    • Convert (XML request/response): Displays the result in XML format.

    • Convert (result as table): Displays a table listing the size of the converted file in the selected formats (PDF and/or TIFF). Use as a quick test to verify conversion functionality.

    • Convert (open/download result): Displays or downloads the converted file in PDF or TIFF format.

This test tool does not support compressed files, such as ZIP.
