Annotation editing toolbar

This topic describes the buttons on the annotation editing toolbar.

Annotations are only available in the Retrieval module.

Button	Description
Save Annotations	Saves the changes made to the image file.
Clear Annotations	Deletes the changes made to the image file.
Pointer	Changes the cursor back to the default mouse pointer.
Text Tool	Draws a box where specified text can be written.
Rectangle Tool	Draws a rectangle.
Ellipse Tool	Draws an ellipse shape.
Polygon Tool	Draws a polygon.
Polyline Tool	Draws multiple, connected line segments.
Line Tool	Draw a straight line from point A to point B.
Freehand Tool	Draws lines that follow the path of the mouse pointer.
Stamp Tool	Stamps a box containing specified text.
