Batch Manager menus

This topic lists the buttons available in the File and Home menus of the Batch Manager module. The Home menu contains buttons that are specific to the Batch Manager module.

Home menu

Group Button Description
Batch Close Selected Batches

Closes the selected batches.

Delete Selected Batches

Deletes the selected batches and the associated image files from the storage.

Update Batch Status Flags

Sets or clears the High Priority, Suspended, and Held status flags for multiple batches at once from within the Batch Manager.

View Batch Information

Opens the Batch Information dialog box.

The Modify Document Type Definition button and the Batch Overrides tab are not available.

Close All Completed Batches

Closes all completed batches at once and removes them from the Batch Manager.

Reopen Selected Batches

Reopens highlighted completed or closed batches for review. Show Closed Batches must be enabled.

View Options Refresh Batch List

Refreshes the batch list to show any changes or additions recently made.

Show Closed Batches

Toggle to include or omit closed batches for viewing in the Batch Manager pane.

File menu

Button Description

Update Retention Settings

Opens the Update Batch Retention Settings dialog box, where you can update the retention settings for the selected batch. Other batches of the same document type are unaffected.

Update Batch Paths

Updates the batch storage location for the image files.

Import Batches

Opens the Import Batches dialog box. You can import batches into Batch Manager from a local or network location.

  • Once a storage location/directory of the desired capture profile is entered, the box under Batches to import is populated with all the batches for the capture profile. Select the check boxes next to each batch that needs to be imported.

  • Under Batch Manager options, select to import the batches to either the local or shared Batch Manager (capture server).

  • Under Import options, select to keep the batch folder in the current location or move to a new location.

Export Selected Batches

Opens the Export Batches dialog box. You can export highlighted batches to a different location.

Exit

Exits PSIcapture.
