Batch information

The Batch Information dialog box is accessible from several locations within PSIcapture. The purpose of the product area is to collect and display relevant information on the selected batch. This topic describes each area of this dialog box.

General

This area displays general information about the batch name, batch fields, batch totals, and batch summary.

Position UI element name Description
Under Batch details Batch name The name of the batch. Can be edited in most cases.
Workflow step The current workflow step of the batch.
High priority Batch

Changes the batch to have high priority, displaying a high priority symbol in the Batch Manager.

You cannot change the batch to high priority if the batch is in any workflow step other than Capture/Import or when the batch is closed or suspended in the Batch Manager.

Hold Batch

Puts the batch on hold, displaying a pause symbol in the Batch Manager.

A batch on hold is no longer listed in the Select Batch dialog box.

Bottom left corner of the dialog box Modify Capture Profile Definition In some cases, it can be necessary to make changes to the capture profile definition of a batch or view specific information about a batch. By clicking the Modify Capture Profile Definition button, you can make changes without affecting any other batches of the same capture profile.
Print Batch Summary

Displays a printable version of the batch summary.

Batch Overrides

Displays validation information that you can adjust accordingly.

Only enabled when validations are set in capture profile configuration (Capture Profile > Validation and Exceptions).

Batch Note

You can create, edit, view, or select a note for the currently selected batch. To make organizing the batch notes easier, date stamping is available.

Batch History

Displays the batch history.

Clicking the binocular icon next to a module opens the Batch History Item Details dialog box, where the capture statistics or the OCR statistics can be viewed.

Capture Profile Summary

A brief summary of the capture profile configuration settings presented in a tree structure.

Lookup Logs

A record of the lookups performed on the currently selected batch.
