Preview pane
The PSIsafe Web preview pane is available in the following product areas: Cabinets (Browser), and Search screens. In both areas, the preview window capabilities remain consistent.
Preview
Within the content list on the right-hand side of the Cabinets (Browser) and Search screens, select the document to preview by left-clicking it.
To preview the content, hover over the
Down Arrow
and click
Preview. You can also right-click the content and click
Preview.
The preview window appears. The following functions are available on the preview:
- Rotate Clockwise
- Rotate Counterclockwise
- Zoom In
- Zoom Out
- Fit Vertical
- Fit Horizontal
- Maximize
- Close
At the bottom of the preview pane a toolbar appears that enables you to navigate pages.
Preview Window
The Preview Window functions nearly identically to the Preview function, with the main difference being that the previewed content is opened within an external browser window. This may be useful to users who wish to multitask and keep a preview open while continuing their use of PSIsafe Web.
Another key difference is that multi-document selections refresh the Preview Window's display. If you open a preview window and then select another document, then the selected document will be displayed in the pop-out preview window. Users can then keep selecting any document they want to preview without having to re-open the preview window. This can be immensely helpful for quick document viewing.
To preview the content, first select it within a document list of the Cabinets (Browser) or Search screen, then hover
over the
Down Arrow
and click
Preview Window. You can also right-click on the content and click
Preview Window.
The remaining Preview window functionality is identical to what is described in the previous section.
