Configure an Online learning copy activity

Use the following procedure to add and configure an Online learning copy activity.

Before you begin

Make sure to do the following:

  • Add a Validation or Document review activity just before the Online learning copy activity in the capture process.

  • Enable the Copy online learning documents asynchronously option in the Validation or Document review activity.

  • Mark documents for Online learning.

Procedure
  1. Add an activity to the map.

    By default, the Configuration tab is open in the properties panel of the activity.

  2. Change the default Name of the activity to something meaningful.
  3. On the Type list, select Capture > Online learning copy.
  4. On the Input document/folder list, select a document or folder variable as an input to the activity. See Create a document variable and Create a folder variable.
  5. In Number of retries, specify how many times the Online learning copy should retry if an error occurs. (Default: 5)
  6. By default, a job is suspended on error. To allow the job to not suspend so that you can manually handle the error, clear Suspend job on error. In the Error message box, select a variable to hold the error code.
  7. Release the process map.

    At runtime, the Online learning copy activity uses standard activity timing; it times out if it does not complete within the configured Target duration. (Default: 5 Minutes)
