Save to Local Drive/Share activity

Use the Save to Local Drive/Share activity to automatically save processed documents and their extracted OCR data to a designated file system path.

The Save to Local Drive/Share activity enables you to export documents along with their OCR data to a local drive or network share. Documents are bundled with their OCR data into a ZIP and written to the configured destination path. You can configure the output format (CSV or JSON), control file naming behavior on collisions, and optionally extract the ZIP contents automatically.

This activity is particularly useful for archiving processed documents, creating backups, or integrating with downstream systems that require file-based input.

In a tenant environment, this activity runs on Integration Server, as the cloud server cannot access on-premise paths. In a standard on-premise environment, the activity runs on the OP server.
The activity writes files under the Core Worker Service account. Ensure the service account has write permissions to the destination path.
If the destination path does not exist, the service account lacks write permission, or a disk-full condition occurs, the job is suspended with a descriptive error message.
