Configure a project
The configuration option is only available for users with the Project Administrator role. Use the project configuration window to configure general attributes of the project as well as define the channels for the output. The following rules apply to the configured channels:
-
All channels configured for the project are produced in Document Packs.
- Only the output for the channels marked as Reviewable will be available for review in KCM ComposerUI.
-
If a configured channel is no longer available in the instance, it will still be present in the project configuration. However, no output will be produced for it. For more information about available channels, check the section about the LoadOutputManagementMetadata command-line tool in the Kofax Communications Manager Repository Administrator's Guide.
-
If none of the channels are available in the instance, the output is produced for the predefined Microsoft Word channel.
-
Select the target project on the list and then click
Configure in the
Other Actions pane on the right.
The "Project - <project name>" window appears.
-
Configure the
General section.
- Edit Description as required.
- You may assign the project to a Project Group by typing the project name. This feature helps you arrange the projects in the structure logical for your business needs.
-
Configure the
Channels section. You can select both from the channels loaded with the
project as well as several predefined channels.
-
