Batch group

New

Creates a new batch.

Next

Opens the oldest closed batch on the Batches list. Available only in a client/server installation.

Close

Closes a batch. Before closing, processing is completed for the current batch state. Available only in a client/server installation.

Suspend

Suspends a batch without completing processing for the current state. Available only in a client/server installation.

Scan group

Scan One

Scans a single page.

If FolderScan is active, imports a single image from a folder.

Scan All

Scans all pages in the scanner.

If FolderScan is active, imports all images from the folder you specify.

Stop

Stops the scan or import operation.

Document group

New Document

Creates a new document.

Split

Splits a document into two documents.

Merge with Previous

Combines the selected document with the previous document.

Merge with Next

Combines the selected document with the next document.

Merge Selected

Combines multiple selected documents into one document.

Index group

Indexing

Switches to indexing mode.

Zonal Recognition group (available only in indexing mode)

Setup

Opens the Zonal Recognition Setup window, where you set preferences affecting detection of OCR and bar code values during index zone processing.

Draw Zone

Switches to mode for drawing a recognition zone for indexing.

Remove Zone

Removes a recognition zone for indexing. If a zone was created while Memorize was active, you cannot remove it while Memorize is turned off.

Export group

Auto Export

Automatically exports batches continually to the location specified on the Job Setup tab. Available only with the Kofax Express Export application. Not available if "Background export" is selected.

Export Batch

Exports batch to the location specified on the Job Setup tab.
