Predefined Index Field Default Values
Use the list of predefined index field values to configure the default value for any index field. The list of default values is available on the Index Setup tab when you click the setup tool next to the Default field. Index field default values may consist of multiple elements.
When you assign a predefined default value, it automatically populates the index field. As a result, the index operator does not have to enter the default value manually.
The table lists the predefined index field default values that you can select.
