Create custom ERP business rules

Before you can create a custom ERP in AP Agility it is recommended to create the business rules that will decide how content is imported or exported by the custom ERP. Two templates already exist that include all of the necessary information needed by the business rules.

You can create custom ERP business rules by following these steps:

Launch the TotalAgility Designer.
From the menu select Workflow > Business rules.

A list of business rules are displayed for the default category.
From the Category list select AP Agility

A list of business rules are displayed for the AP Agility category.
Locate the Custom ERP Import Data Template business rule, on the right, click , and select Copy.

A copy of the business rule is created with a name based on the copied business rule.
Click on the new business rule and perform the following steps.
1. In the Name field, modify the name of business rule as required.
2. Modify the business rule as needed.

3. Once you have configured your business rule, click Save.
4. Click Release.
Your import business rule is ready for use in production.
Repeat step 5 for the Custom ERP Export Data Template.

After both business rules are created you can add a custom ERP in AP Agility.
