Tungsten Search and Matching Server databases
In addition to the ASE database lookups, Tungsten AP Agility Invoice Processing also supports lookups using Tungsten Search and Matching Server databases. When Tungsten AP Agility is first installed, three Tungsten Search and Matching Server databases are created automatically. By default, these point to the localhost, so their paths need updated to point to the correct TSMS server.
A Tungsten Search and Matching Server database is physically located on a remote server, and no copies or regular updates are needed on the Tungsten TotalAgility sever.
Since the database lookups are configured to use the ASE databases by default, it is necessary to do the following:
-
Load the necessary data into the BRWVendorMaster and BRWEmployeeMaster tables, and if necessary, the BRWCompanyAddressMaster table, in the AP Agility database.
-
Open the Transformation Designer and then select the Project Settings > Databases tab.
-
Open the AP_Vendor database, update the Connection String so that it points to your Tungsten Search and Matching Server server, and configure the TSMS AP_Vendor settings.
-
Open the AP_Employee database, update the Connection String so that it points to your Tungsten Search and Matching Server server, and configure the TSMS AP_Employee settings.
-
If needed, open the AP_Company database, update the Connection String so that it points to your Tungsten Search and Matching Server server, and configure the TSMS AP_Company settings.
-
Update the Settings > Invoice Processing > Global Settings > ASE Database Settings to use the Tungsten Search and Matching Server databases instead of the default ASE databases.
-
Release your project.
